My students absolutely LOVED this video. We had been studying the American Revolution and at first I wasn't sure how they'd respond to the cat/dog replacement of the real people in history. They totally enjoyed it. I think they may have actually paid better attention to the lesson learned through this video because of the animal characters. I shared it with my fellow teachers and will definitely use it again next year.

My students loved the video. It was important that they had background knowledge of the topic first. This enabled them to understand who the different characters in the video were as well as the events that were happening.This did not diminish their. enjoyment, but only added to the discussion afterwards. They were a little disappointed that there was not another video for their social studies curriculum.
