Simply Civics NH has been aligned to the New Hampshire Department of Education's academic competencies/standards for Civics and Government. It's a free, rigorous civics course aimed at increasing and honing civics competency and facilitating an active and informed citizenry. It covers a foundational understanding of American history and how the U.S. government was created with a system of checks and balances designed to protect citizens' rights. The course begins by covering not just the rote answers to the 100 questions on the citizenship test used by the USCIS (now required by a growing number of states for high school graduation) but also the why behind each one.

izzit.org's Simply Civics for New Hampshire offers multiple options for using our NH DOE recognized course. Educators can download the syllabus to use with their students in their classrooms.

Students looking to take the course outside of the traditional classroom can apply to be part of our accredited Learn Everywhere version of the course. For more information on when the next course will be offered and how to apply, please email [email protected] and use the subject line Simply Civics Learn Everywhere.
