Reduce your likelihood of living in poverty by 98%!

Key 1—Education

Richard ended up in prison after dropping out in 9th grade. But while incarcerated, he began to change his life, learning to read and educating himself. Richard kept learning after leaving prison, continuing on a strong path to success. Witness his transformation.

Key 2—Avoid Single Parenthood

Monique also dropped out. She was pregnant with her first child. Single parents are 4-5 times more likely to remain trapped in poverty. Monique wishes she knew then what she knows now. She's instilling respect for education in her kids so they can be successful adults and she's still working towards her GED.

Key 3—Work (Full-Time)

Work not only provides money needed to pay bills, but a sense of satisfaction and pride. Richard now has a profession, not just a job.

What choices will you make for your future? Will you use the 3 Keys to Success to help you?

Great video with personal stories backed up with statistics. Felt that the students grasped the points the video was making and found the stories of the people to be presented in a very positive and supportive of a strong work ethic to get ahead even though times have been tough following poor decisions.

Perfect video for our "at risk" students so that they can understand about staying in school, working and avoid being a single parent.

This was a great video that seemed really positive. It didn't say "you are doomed" if you have one of these situations, just how much harder it makes it, or rather how much easier it is to succeed with an education, no kids, and a willingness to work.

Molly Froerer

Excellent subject matter for my HS freshmen. It helped me to drive home the importance of setting yourself up for success and it had the students really thinking about their current status.

I absolutely loved this video. It grabbed my students' attention and because of the video students were able to have a frank discussion about the importance of the three keys to success in their lives.

Donna Schmitz

This was absolutely the best video I have shown my juniors and seniors. The explanations about the positive steps to take were so easy to understand and no one minced any words.

Kathleen Wong

Excellent video for my "Life Skills" class. It can be used across the board and be geared towards incoming freshmen.

Kris Hagen
Bakersfield, CA

I think the video really got the point across as to the most three important aspects of a young adults life. If they take care of these three things life will be potentially easier for them.

Kelly Steo

This was a very inspiring video. My students discussed the options they have to be successful in life.

Robin Allen

This was a great resource for my incarcerated students. They could relate to the people and the situations. It is inspiring for them.
